Been cleaning up my room and found this poem which i really like..
nice timing.. I remembered it was my sister who showed it to me before..
forget his name, forget his face
forget his kiss and warm embrace
forget the love that you once knew
remember now, there's someone new
forget the love that you once shared
forget the face that you once cared
forget the time you spent together
remember now, he's gone forever
forget your cry all night long
forget him when you played your song
forget how close you two once were
remember now, he has chosen her
forget you memorized his walk
forget the way he used to talk
forget the times when he got mad
remember now, he's happy not sad
forget the thrills when he passed by
forget the times he made you cry
forget the way he spoke your name
remember now, he just played a game
forget the times that went so fast
forget them all they're just in the past
forget the dreams that can't come true
forget the boy... cause he has forgotten you...
I
really like sad love poems. I can't relate to it but the emotions that these poems convey thru words, may it be simple or deep, it just really hit you. Whether you've experienced such or not. I even noticed that among the poems i've written, the saddest ones are usually the one's I've written best. Don't know why when Life's been good and I'm always in a happy mood. Maybe its because I've always been affected by my sister or friends' sad stories of unrequited love, unworthy guys, love turned bad. To be honest, it makes me scared, but i will always believe in happy endings even if believing in it is to a fault. ;)
..Tama na nga! hahaha :)
