Just had less than 3 hours of sleep because of volunteering from NAMFREL:( But it was ok since I'm feeling patriotic. hehehe. And knowing me, the less sleep i get, the more hyper i become. haha! :) Met some nice people in the precints where i was assigned. I must admit it was really a tiring and a super dizzying day, but in a way, it was all worth it.
The day started at 12 in the afternoon. We were oriented again and were given our ID's and manual. We arrived at Aurora School, where we were assigned, at around 3:30. As expected, the place was crowded, hot and basta, in one word,
nakakahilo. As NAMFREL volunteers, we were tasked to monitor the proceeedings and at the end, collect the Election return for Namfrel. I won't even begin the many irregularities i've seen with the precints i've handled.
Buti na lng andun ako to stop it.. hhahha!! joke!!
Since we were the ones to get the election return, which means we have to wait till the whole counting ends, we left the school already at 2:30 in the morning. No exaggeration!! promise! But as i was saying before, good thing there were nice people esp in the precints because there was this specific moment that i
must share. hahaha!!
It was already 1 in the morning, feeling sleepy while waiting for the counting of votes to end, when some of the poll clerks were making chikka chikka with me. One particular volunteer there asked me how old i was. I was suppose to say 21 but i said 20 ahhaha! :) and guess what she replied to me? "
kala ko 17 ka lng. totoo!! YEEESSSS!!!
syempre nabuhayan me bigla. hahahaha! :)
We finished everything by 5 in the morning here in LaSalle. I must mention my daddy cause he waited for me till 5. He was all there alone in the car since 12:30 in the morning cause he wanted to make sure i was safe from Aurora. haayy!! :) love my daddy so much. Even though i noticed he was getting impatient, i mean who would'nt but when i mentioned some food, nakabawi din ako. ;)
Woke up at 9:45 cause i still had my class at 10:30. haaayy.. bad news pa!:( good thing i was able to see some of my highschool kabarkada.
Juls and
Xtin. One thing i like about our friendship is that nothing has changed. Even if they always make fun of me, I could always be "me" when i'm with them cause they really know me and that means, laughing out loud, eating "like a man" or just talk about anything. :) Still friends after 8 years and counting... :) I'm lucky to have them maski iniwan ako sa swimming. :P
Just had to mention that a 'mean' friend named Tufe texted me just to inform that he was back from States and that the Lakers was 0-2!!! GRRR!! kala ko pasalubong or someting! :p Buti na lng, Lakers won na! HA! beh!
