Take a Chance

Finally, I was able to see My Sassy Girl. hehe. I know that, that movie has been there for a long time but unfortunately, I can't seem to get a hold of it. Its either Joms lent it to someone else or it has simply been lost. But better late than never :D Rap was really thoughtful to make a copy for me of the movie, but what was even more nice was that when I wanted to pay for it, Rap said that it would be just his advance birthday gift. aaaww! :D Bait super! :D My first gift for my birthday this year. hmmm.. what else would i get from my family and friends? *hint, hint* hhaha! :D

Anyway, at first I was a little apprehensive in watching the movie because of all the hype that i've been hearing about it and i did'nt want to feel dissapointed in case it did'nt leave up to my expectations. But after watching it, I'm happy to say that it did. Even made me cried since I'm such a mababaw person :D At first I did'nt like the girl cause she was so mean to Gyun Woo But after I learned her reason, in a way, I began to understand her. Its just that, for me personally, good guys like him are a rare kind nowadays and girls with boyfriends like that should take care of them. Cause no matter how mean or how physically the girl was to Gyun Woo, he loved her unconditionally. Is there really a guy like that?! To be honest, at first i could'nt take the guy seriously cause he looked like Cabatu hehe, but its really true on what they say, when you are good at heart, you are beautiful the most :D

Anyway, I would'nt really say that this movie would be my super duper ultimate romantic movie of all time, cause its still Cutting Edge for me, BUT i would'nt mind watching My Sassy Girl over and over. :D

As I am writing this entry, Niks is probably in the plane going to Japan since she'll be staying there for about three months. Even if I don't get to see Niks like before, I will still be missing her since she's one of my closest friends :) 3 months is really a long time, kaya nga I ended up going to her house even if it was already late and I was in may pambahay clothes. hehe It was because Rage, without notice, texted me that they'll be coming to my house so that they could pick me up to surprise Niks. Sweet noh! :) And when I asked where they were, "malapit na raw". I really had no idea that they would be going to my house. Its because earlier, they were inviting me to go to Makati, but I could'nt, even if I was already there cause I was with my sister. Kaya when I received their text, I was surprised, to think that my parents had no idea that I would be going out but more than that, I was all set to sleep early since I had a headache which, maybe I got from the shopping that I did earlier. hehe. Coincidently, as Rage texted me, I was talking to Niks on the phone at that time, talking about her trip tomorrow. Awww. I'll really miss Niks' missed calls to me just to imply that I need to call her on the phone. hehe.

Anyway, good thing my mom allowed me to go on a really short notice. As in Lion's car was already in front of the house! But when I told her that it would be because of Niks, she understood and let me go. or maybe because she knows I won't really go out on a gimmick considering that I was in my pambahay already, as in shorts and tsinelas:)

But it was all worth it, esp seeing Niks, to think that a few minutes ago she was just talking to me. hehe. Nakakahiya lng cause the gift i gave her as a "going away" present was not really as great as I would have wanted it to be since I did'nt have much money. But its the thought that counts right :) Sayang lang cause i had a super terrible headache, na ginaya ni Joms, which prevented me from really seizing the opportunity to having a really good time with them. Especially since I don't get to see them anymore, although they're still makulit and mapang-asar, but still really nice and fun pa rin. Hatid, Sundo ako eh. hehe. :) Kaya nga kahiya cause I could only offer them a few pieces of cookies and chocolates after they dropped me off :( But again, its the though that counts, pero masarap yun ah hehe!

I am so into chocolates right now :D Unlike most people, I'm not really into chocolates, although I absolutely love white chocolate but lately, my mom bought this new Cadbury Chocolate called Three Wishes. O-M-I-G-O-S-H!! I think I'm starting to develope a sweet tooth. Its three layers of different kinds of chocolate which are, Dark Chocolate on top, White in the middle and the usual Gold cadbury chocolate at the bottom. Just thinking about it makes me want to go downstairs into our fridge to get some more. I promise, just getting one square from the whole thing is not enough. From the moment I tasted my first bite of it, I could'nt help but close my eyes and just enjoy its rich taste. hehe. I have this weird habit that I shake my right hand whenever I taste something good, and I did just that. hihi. Meaning, its that good. No wonder, its called Three wishes. Its like your wishes have been granted. hehe. I know, Exagge!! but i wouldn't blame them for naming it as such. Even if the chocolates were layered on top of one another, you could still distinctly tell the white choco from the dark and gold. I am so into it that I must have one piece of it everyday or I just grate it so I could sprinkle it on my ice cream . Its really a must. Taste it so you'll know. Maybe I'll be wrong , but for me, I love it. This really is an easy, not to mention, a sweet way to gain weight. :)

It seems like most of Kar's friends are now into Sun. Mostly because of its Unlimited text and calls which is absolutely perfect for me considering that I don't always have credits like NOW! hehe. Actually, its been weeks. But I'm really tightening my belt on this one even if I'm having a hard time communicating with my dad especially when he picks me up from school. :)hehe But it does have some advantages like for today. My dad texted me that he's already waiting for me outside Gokongwei but when I went there, I did'nt see our car so I patiently waited even if it was kinda long. The price I have to pay since I did'nt have any credits to ask where he was. BUT all was not lost, cause I saw this really cute guy. Super!

I must admit that I'm pihikan when it comes to the looks of guys that's why I rarely have a crush but this guy, wait, I'm just going to describe him cause I still remember him so vividly. Let's start with his outfit. hehe ;) He was wearing this adidas sneakers, maong pants that was'nt too loose or fit, white shirt, and this kahki colored sweater with hood, which I love on guys. hihi. Then comes his looks. He had a haircut which was just right. The kind of hairdo which you don't really need to gel and you could just run through your fingers with. But most of all, he was a chinito but not super chinese chinese. He was also not that white in complexion and was tall. But most of all, he really looked sweet and nice. He also had this messenger bag which he was toying around which made him even cuter. I was really so giddy that when my dad finally came, I could'nt help but laugh cause I could finally react. haha! I felt like a high school girl all over again.

Anyway, back to Sun again, me and Co are planning to buy Sun sim pretty soon. :) Actually before, I was already into it but I thought to myself, sino naman ka unlimited calls ko? hehe. But now that Co is into Sun now, I hope everyone would follow as well para fun. :) Text us or call us if your into Sun. :) Just imagine all the money you could save yet be able to connect and talk to your loved ones for as long as you want ;) Wow what an offer!! Hahah! :D

Starbucks and a lot of Hahaha! :D

That pretty much sums up my Starbucks stay last night with Co :D Since we attended the launching of the G&W yearbook for the free food, getting the yearbook was certainly a plus. :)

I really appreciated the fact that Co, who was wearing this super great blouse that night (inggit ako!), went with me. :D Since going with me, meant that she had to go get herself a ticket all the way to the fifth floor. Anyway, the launching was pretty okay. Nothing exciting really happened although the DVD looked impressive :) although its just dissapointing that I did'nt win anything during the raffle. hehe. Kapal! The highlight for me was really the food. My plate was full, and I would have wanted to go back again but then since I was wearing a skirt, basically, semi formal, I wanted to maintain my image. hahaha! :D

After that, we went to Starbucks cause I really miss going there. Because of that, I remembered our starbucks moments with Rage, Joms and Co. hehe :) And at the same time just talking with my girl friends. :) Co and I must have spent almost 2 hours there cause it was almost 12 when my dad was able to pick us up. But it was really okay since I did'nt even notice the time because when Co and I opened the yearbook, it was just all laughs and a little bit of investigation ;) Basta pag si Co kasama ko, sobrang kahit ano, tinatawanan namin. hehe It really made up for my sad day at school earlier :( People close to me know I may always react to their constant teasings but I rarely get mad, come to think of it, during my whole stay in LaSalle, I never really got pissed off. And if ever I did, I would only show it by being quiet and my friends would know right away to just stop....

Hopefully tomorrow would be as fun as tonight. My plan would be going to RP for their Sale (I can't wait!), then go to Makati for Kar. Tonight just proved once again that the best things in life are for free :)

Why are some people afraid to take "that" leap ?

I know there are instances where you've reached the end. and there's the choice that has to be made. There could never be an in between. I admire those who just jumped and did not even hesitated. Was it stupidity? or simply they were just brave enough to face the consequences. But usually, you come to a halt. You stop and you rationalize. You don't know wether to take that leap or not. You come to a conclusion and you simply walk away. In the end, the mind won over the heart. Right? But was it really the case?

Why do we turn our backs? Maybe its because we don't know much about what's on the other side. Isn't it true that we are afraid of the unknown? The things that we know of about it are usually from what we've watched from the movies or from the books that we've read that stirred our imaginations. But what we know of it, more importantly comes from those who have taken that risk and greatly pronounced that it was all worth it. Was it really? Maybe we are just contented by just merely knowing about it. Its not because we can't really fully understand it but on the contrary, we know so much about it that it REALLY IS scary..

Because in taking that big leap, yes, you might see that ray of sunshine at the other end but what are the chances of successfully reaching it? It might seem easy because all you have to do is jump and everything will be okay. Right? But truth is, in taking that huge leap of faith, chances are you might fall short. Some got injured, got bruised and worse even died. But even if you were able to live through that fall, could you ever recover? Could those wounds ever heal?

Like some, she turned her back too. Was it because her mind won over her heart? Truth is, it was the other way around. Her heart won over her mind. Her heart was too precious and innocent that she did'nt want it to get hurt. Through those instances, some people were willing to hold her hand as she was about to take that leap, but instead of feeling secured, she still felt alone. Maybe it was her fault cause she did'nt trust them enough. But nevertheless she was happy with her decision. But she would always be grateful because they were willing to go with her but she can't lie when it just did'nt felt right..

So she turned her back but still with a smile on her face as she continues to walk the road again. She still admires those who took the chance cause she knows that the greater the risk is, the greater the reward is also. But eventhough, she is in no hurry. She is still enjoying this journey cause she knows deep inside, she's not quite sure if she is ready to face "that" dead end again. But Life is so unpredictable and so is she. Maybe she's just a coward. But who knows, she might just meet someone along the way. Maybe even now or later. And that someone will hold her hand, and she would hold it tightly in return, so she could take that huge leap of faith once and for all..

And sometimes, its better to write these things as if you were talking about another person..

The Alicia Keys concert is getting nearer and nearer.. tomorrow infact. I SOOOO WAAAAANT TOOO GOOO!! waaaaahh!! :( I was just watching her London concert in MTV. haaay! She was so good :) Her last song was even "you don't know my name." Torture! I want to go! Co was telling me that I should watch Unang Hirit cause they're giving away free tickets. Even if I wanted to, I don't think I could wake up THAT early. When Co said that, I remembered while listening to Magic that they were giving away tickets if we could answer their question. Since I'm such a fan of hers, I knew the Answer. But the painful part was that the answer should be texted and I did not have any credits during that time. wwaaaaahhh! So that afternoon, I bought credits if ever the chance came up again. The next day, while watching TV, I saw a plug in ETC channel where they were suppose to give away tickets also. I was like thinking to myself, "Here's my chance, Here's my chance". So I grabbed my celfone and readied myself. But then all of a sudden, my heart broke. Why? The contest was for SMART subscribers ONLY . waaaaaagg naman!! nooooooo!!! Unless someone would be super duper bait to invite me (hello? anyone?) or that there's a miracle that I earn enough money, I guess, I'll have to be green with envy in hearing stories from people who watched the concert :( or to content myself in hearing the background music of this journal.. :P

I know I've said this before that I'm this person where my friends are surprised whenever I txt them cause I barely have credits always. hehe. That's why I was so grrr to the max when Globe sent me a supposedly "free" ringtone. But to my surprise, my just recently loaded credits lessened. super grr!! I mean, the pain would have been tolerable but its just that of all ringtones, what they sent to me was, lo and behold, Sandara Park's "In or Out". Wooooow!!! :P Syempre asar me, that's how much I value my credits, so I called up Globe and told them what happened. They said I was subscribed daw to that service. Haaayy!! Why would I do that when I have never planned to change my ringtone and why would I waste my one peso by subscribing. Eversince I have used Blur's Song 2. Asar tlga! So they told me to write this msg..

Today was grad practice for most of my friends :) It was a different feeling seeing most of them most especially my girlfriends / thesismates, Ruz and Farids, cause i really miss them tlga. :) Although I'm kinda suspicious why Gian was not there... hmmm..hehe. Its been a while since I last saw them and I could'nt help but smile. Ruz even said that she missed going to our house and just remembering it, even with all the cramming, nagkaka-asaran, what really stuck to me was that we still managed to have fun :) Although seeing them in toga made me sad for a minute but what came after was that I felt so proud of them. hehe. :) of course, coincidently, I saw him as well. And I think I'm cured. ;) I also saw Zaids who was the bearer of good news. :) She brought the Puerto Galera CDs. Although I already saw the pictures which I laughed at for the longest time, this time, Zaids was creative enough to place some funny captions, borders and images which were really funny. I can't help but laugh out loud. Even though some of the pictures were funny at my expense. :P

But really, Zaids is so MAGALING and MATIYAGA!! Promise, she is one of the most hardworking people I know. I believe that awards should'nt be just about grades cause looking at how Zaids really worked hard during college.. Bow talaga me. :) Thanks Zaids. :)

Lately, nights have been coming earlier than usual. Signs of Christmas coming soon. And I'm so happy that I even put up my own christmas tree already in my room. hehe.

But of course, before Christmas comes, hep! hep! a very special girl is going to celebrate her birthday first. ahem ahem! hahah! :D But kidding aside, Christmas just brings about love and generosity among people that's why i like it so much. But more than that, I'm happy because even for just a while, people are able to remember and be thankful for Christ our lord. :) Waking up and just seeing my christmas tree, makes me smile each time, and in a way, a reminder to start saving up for all the gifts i have to give. hehe. but its okay, all for the love of giving. :)

I think my October is off to a good start :) After having a lot of fun at the Animo Party last Friday, I went to the Gawad Kalinga Concert together with Joms and Co last night :) It was'nt really a super duper fun concert, but I still had a good time nevertheless ;) The Gawad Kalinga concert is for the benefit of the homeless people. :) The people behind this cause are from groups who belonged to the Couples, Singles and Youth for Christ and since my parents are members of the CFC, they had tickets for me. ;) The artists in the concert included Martin, Gary, Apo, and for the youth, Bamboo. As soon as I heard that Bamboo would be there, I immediately thought of Co and so I invited her. As expected, she agreed. hehe. :D

When we reached the Fort, the first thing that came to my mind was just to eat, eat and eat, and so we did. hehe :) I must say, everything really went well :D The rain was threatening to fall but it did'nt. I'm glad that the concert was really full. I think people drove their literally in groups. But it was okay considering that it was for a good cause. Were just lucky cause we were able to find good places such as a on top of a firetruck (?!) to even a kariton. hehe. Tapos when Joms came, he provided even more amusing entertainment. haha! :)

Grabe, I'm really amazed at Gary V. You can't really doubt why he's called the Pure Energy :) But I think I liked best aside from the fireworks was when Bamboo performed. Because at least they were able to perform my fave, "Kung Ayaw mo Huwag mo". When Rivermaya went to LaSalle, I kept on shouting for that song but grr! they did'nt play it. But what makes me even more happy was seeing how Co saw the Bamboo concert. Since I was the one who invited her, in a way I felt responsible in making sure she had a good time. It was like Au part 2. Kinilig sya upon seeing Ira. I can't see why. hehe. But what I would'nt forget is when Bamboo played "Masaya". I thought she would cry. hahaha! :D It was really a stroke of luck that we were not able to see my parents at that time. hehe. I was like saying to Co, "What if bigla nilang i-play yung 'Masaya' ?" hehe.

It was already past 1 when the concert finished up. And I knew my mom was really sleepy na. and they had to wake up early pa for their gym which means, being sleepy means being masungit. hehe. Good thing my dad was'nt, so the tactic was to talk to my dad about how nice the concert was to divert on how late it was already. It worked! :D Even after we made hatid to Joms and Co, my dad and I were still discussing on how the concert was successful. haha! :) Haaayy.. antok na me..

I was able to attend the Animo Party today and I must say, ang saya. hehe. Mission Accomplished! haahha!! :D The only thing i wanted to gain from the party aside from the free food was to have my picture taken with my fave player, Jvee Casio. haha!! Babaw but its true :) Plus the fact that Barbie's cradle played too :) Today i felt like I was in highschool all over again. hehe. I was so into Ginebra at that time that my family and I even the watched the games live. I would patiently wait for my favorite player, Bal David and would be so giddy upon seeing him. haha! :D Or about that time I saw Marlou Aquino and Jaworski at Glorietta. Upon mustering my guts, I approached them and asked for their signatures. ehhe. I even asked Marlou "Mr. Marlou, Nasaan si Bal?" Close kami eh. heheh! :D

At first I thought that even if I was so excited in attending the party, I would'nt be able to go since that day, Seyds and Co texted me that they would'nt be able to make it :( But good thing Au was there. Au was the perfect kasama. Haha!! All the kababawan. hehe. We just kept on saying that since this would be our last term, it would'nt matter and they woul'dnt remember us anyway. haha! :D

I guess, everything went well :) Since classes were called off by 4 and we did'n have anything to do, we decided to check the area where the party will be held. Good thing because we were able to get a good spot for the parade. hehe. Sobrang i could'nt forget Au. Kinilig si Au upon seeing the players!! haha! :D After the parade, Au and I decided to go to the stage area to get good places. The DO was so nice cause he gave only Au and I seats. hehe. But then when they started giving out the food, Au and I immediately left and got ourselves some Pizzas. eheh. After getting a slice of Pizza, pila nanaman kami ni Au ulit for another. hehe. :D Sana laging ganun. :) Yuchengco was overflowing with food. :) After that, Au and I decided to get some Ice cream and while finding the ice cream stand, we noticed a commmotion.. the players were having signature signing and picture taking in the quadrangle. Hala!! Au and I quickly went there. Grabe, nakakahiya but we did'nt care. hehe.

Most of the players were nice naman although of all, Yeo seemed kinda snobbish! Grabe sobrang everyone was crowding over Mac Cardona as expected :D Makes me laugh when I remember the "tricks" Au and I did to have a picture with him. hehe. Bidang bida din si Maierhoffer!! hehe. I would'nt say all the the things Au and I did to get pictures but lets just say I spent half the time laughing. haha!! As I would quote Au "losers" tlga kmi. hehe but I had fun. hehe

Grabe super I really want to buy a new digicam!! I had 3 chances to have a decent picture with Jvee Casio but my digicam just won't work in the dark and unfortunately, using the flash empties the battery life :P And it all happened while I was already beside him and was smiling already. grr! kahiya! :D Good thing, it worked well on my last chance. Hahahah! :D After that, we were able to meet Nina. :) It was really nice seeing her again. :) Nina was really fun to be with. Promise, I was really shy in asking for some pictures, but Nina was really the one who kept saying, "ok lng yan". hehe. :)


Where are the players? hehe. :)

I was so tired from all the walking that I did that when Kar and I reached our house, we immediately sat on her chair, got another one so that we could put our feet up. hehe. :) I just hope next year, La Salle would win again since its very possible considering that Gaco would be the only one leaving. Just want to clarify, i do not have a crush on Gaco eventhough Co kept on insisting. :P Whenever I watch a basketball game, I'm very particular on how a player plays, and kaaliw lng sya maglaro esp. last season cause he plays like larong kalye. hehe. But i did have my picture taken with him. haha! :D
