Guess who's back? Haha! :) Can I just say that my vacation in Mexico and in America was probably one of the best times I had in my life. I am thankful for this experience. Everything was just so perfect for me :) Everyday was just pure bliss, sprinkled with a little bit of good luck here and there. Good luck? It was because with just a dollar, I won about $100 dollars in Las Vegas and in Mexico, I was randomly chosen to win a prize just to name a few:) I even got the chance to watch Dawson's Creek again. haha! Though it was just for a month, every single day was something to look forward to. But I must admit, that this trip would have been the very best if only my sisters were with me. Aside from the time I went to Macau with my friends, this was the only trip without my sisters to share this experience with :( The very first night in L.A, drama ko talaga, I cried when I spoke to Kar on the phone. It was because before that, my parents and I went to this store that my sisters and I loved the last time we all went to America, which made me remember them even more. Pero of course, tuloy ang ligaya.. haha! :)

Beginner's luck? hope it still continues here

First of all, after 7 years, I was fortunate to be able to go back to America. I super miss my relatives there especially my Mom's sister and her family, whom we always stayed at whenever we went to States before. I was so surprised to see my cousins all grown up now, and super bait :) Her family has always been so nice and accommodating, esp. my Tita who is always so fun and easy to talk to. Though my dad drives there so we could go to the malls and stores like computer shops (nerd!), they always tried to bring us to different places despite their busy careers. And can I just say that I am super duper lucky that when we went there, it also coincided with the spring sale and winter clearance. Omigosh! Super cheap! Kulang na lang ipamigay na nila. Every day, Shopping Galore!! I must say I was fortunate that since I graduated, my relatives there were so generous in giving me money as their gifts to me. Hehe. :) Because of this, my plan to work part-time, for my shopping money, was put on hold. yey! :)

getting close with Jordan? Yeah right!

But for me the highlight of my vacation was the Mexican Cruise . I swear, to quote my Tita, who was with us together with her husband, said it felt like being the "Rich and famous". It was an eight day cruise with 3 stop overs to the different cities in Mexico. But more than visiting and shopping in Mexico for the first time, being in the ship was truly a vacation all by itself. I promise, if you love eating like I do, this is the place for you. I mean, there were always a 24-hour good hotel-like buffet, lunch and dinner fine dining and regular servings of snacks/pizza/burger. So just imagine what I look now! But more than that, you would never get bored because the ship, with its 11 decks, always offered activities galore inside the ship, like karaoke, rock climbing (!), swimming, interesting seminars and fun activites, shopping, casino (!), entertainment / broadway shows and the list goes on. There was even a captain's nigh where we were to wear formal ;) But more than that, the relaxing ambience of just looking on the open waters is really something. Makes you feel like you have nothing to worry about. But one helpful hint is to have Bonamine or those "anti-biyahilo" medications with you because on our way back to L.A, the waves were really strong so the ship was kind of shaky. I promise, when I grow old, I want my husband and I to go to cruises a lot. ;)

Beautiful Mexico! Pero Philippines pa rin :)

Haaay, I never wanted it to end pero of course, reality sinks in and I'm back. And as my dad would say, its "Payback time". Meaning, I should now look for a job. hmm..maybe next week. Before, I was a little bit apprehensive in going to this trip because I felt like I should be looking for a job, but I'm super happy that I did. As my Ate and Farids adviced me before, it was best to rest for a while because once I take on a job, it would really be stressful, and it would really take me a long time before I get a vacation that is something like this. Now I am ready to face the world. Haha! Somehow, I came out of this vacation feeling more open-minded and confident :)If only I could go out of my vacation mode ;) Thankyou Lord for all the blessings, for my friends, relatives and ultimately, for everything. But most of all, to my parents for this opportunity...for taking me along this great ride. super! :)
